Space Cadet’s new CD titled “Closest Thing to Closure” will be released by Kirtland Records on Dec 11. The first single will be “Sellout”, a full on rock track co-written by Ted Levin and Derek Taylor. Check out the first single on the media player and on myspace. We are proud to unveil our new site. Check out the music player at right. It chronicles our discography going back to our humble beginnings in 2000. We had to clean the dust off some of these tapes! We would also like to catch you up since we have been rather quiet for the past couple of months. Our new album, Closest Thing to Closure is complete–mixing, mastering, artwork–the whole nine yards. The finished package has gone to the manufacturing plant and we are waiting on a release date from Kirtland Records. Check back soon and we will have more info! SC

We’d also officially like to announce that Aaron Long has parted ways with the band. We wish him the best of luck in the future. Special thanks to our buddy Lyn Summer for filling in in the meantime. We are now currently auditioning guitar players. If interested, please contact us via our myspace.

We will be auditioning guitar players over the next couple of months as we set a release date for our new album. We are looking for someone with the following:

1) Good rythym and textural player
2) Experienced harmony vocalist
3) Ability to tour regionally
4) Positive attitude and great stage presence
5) No success hindering behaviors
